Three leaders of Biplav outfit arrested from Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Three leaders of the banned Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav outfit have been arrested from Kathmandu on Tuesday. A team from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division (MPCD) rounded them up from Gaushala.

Those arrested are Damabar Bahadur BK, Makardhwoj Gurung and Uma Gurung. BK is the central member of the outfit. However, it is learned that he was sacked by the outfit a few days ago.

Makardhwoj is an alternative central member and Uma looks after the responsibility of the central division of the outfit.

Some 600 leaders and cadres of the outfit have been so far arrested after the government banned their activities.
