TANAHUN: Police here have arrested an Indian national on the charge of murdering an elderly woman in the district.
Locals of Purkot apprehended the Indian citizen on the charge of murdering 60-year-old Kunta Maya Thapa of Purkot of Ghiring Municipality-4 and handed him over to the police, said DSP Lilaraj Lamichhane.
His identity has not been revealed yet.
The suspect was found indulging in hooliganism and threatening the locals who were alone in the jungle herding cattle.
