Nepal to be announced literate country: Education Minister

BIRATNAGAR: Minister for Education, Science and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokharel has said that the campaign to declare Nepal as a literate nation has begun.

Minister Pokharel was speaking at a program organized to announce Morang as the literate district here on Saturday.

The Education Minister said that the future education course should be linked with technology.  Accordingly, the federal government has allocated a budget to upgrade 212 community schools into the technical schools.
