KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday ordered action against Secretary and the concerned official at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) for failing to present necessary documents sought by the court on a graft case against former minister and Nepali Congress leader Govindaraj Joshi.

The apex court on September 14, 2014, had asked the anti-graft body to present original documents regarding the decision to file a corruption against the former minister.

But, CIAA didn’t furnish the documents saying they were missing.

A joint bench of Justices Ishwar Prasad Khatiwada and Sapana Pradhan Malla ordered action against CIAA Secretary and the concerned official.
