Demanding reinstatement of monarchy a criminal act: PM



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has maintained that some forces demanding the reinstatement of the monarchy in the country was an attack on the public, their humiliation and criminal activity.

In the meeting of the Republic Day Main Organizing Committee held in the Ministry of Home Affairs today, PM Oli underlined the need to make the Republic Day a cause for celebration among the public.

He opined that the public should be aware and alert that some regressive forces were on the prowl and were demanding the reinstatement of the monarchy.
