Suspicious object found in Koteshwor, police cordon off area



KATHMANDU: A suspicious object has been found near Koteshwor Chowk in the Capital City on Monday evening. Police have cordoned off the area following the detection of the suspicious object.

DSP Govinda Kafle at Metropolitan Police Circle, New Baneshwor said that a bomb disposal squad of Nepal Army has been called for disposal.

The suspicious object was found some 200 meters towards Tinkune from Koteshwor . The area has suffered heavy traffic jam after police stopped vehicles to ply along the Koteshwor-Tinkune road.
