Married woman found dead, family alleges murder

BANKE: A married woman, Ruksara Kuraisi, who was found hung in her rented apartment in Kailali five days ago, was murdered over dowry, claimed the victim’s father.

“I talked with my daughter over the phone before her murder. She did not talk well then,” said the victim’s father Islam Mohammad Kuraisi.

Ruksara, who got married to Sahebe Alam Kuraisi from India some nine months ago, was living with her family in a rented apartment in Kailali. She was found hanging in her rented apartment on Thursday.

They (in-laws of Ruksara) had reportedly been putting pressure on her father to provide them dowry.
