‘Avengers Endgame’ closes to beat global box office record



LOS ANGELES: “Avengers: Endgame” has reached close to beat global box office domination with over $2 billion worldwide.

With this record, ‘Endgame’ is one of the five movies to cross $2 billion. Avatar’s has earned $2.8 billion in 47 days. But ‘Endgame’ already collected $2 billion in 11 days.

“The sprint to $2 billion is unbelievable. We’re in uncharted territory,” said Paul Dergarabedian, the senior media analyst for Comscore. “Usually films like this are marathoners.” (Agencies)
