Nepal-India border to resume on Monday evening



NEPALGUNJ: Nepal-India border that had been sealed over the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections in the Uttar Pradesh of India is resuming on Monday evening.

The Nepal-India border has been sealed since May 4 in view polls security. People in general and cargo trucks have been stranded due to the border seal at Rupaidiha checkpoint in Nepalgunj.

A joint meeting of Nepal-India Border Coordination Committee had decided to seal the border from Saturday 6 pm to Monday 6 pm (May 6) in view of the safety of the general elections being held in Uttar Pradesh.
