Man held with narcotic drugs



KATHMANDU: A joint team from the Narcotic Drugs Control Bureau, Kathmandu and the Area Police Office Gajuri has arrested a person in possession of opium and marijuana on Monday morning. The police team arrested Kalche Bohara, 46, of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-4, Kailali district in this connection.

He was arrested from a gravel road at Sotikhola of Gajuri Rural Municipality-1, Dhading district. Police confiscated 978 grams of opium and 47 kilograms marijuana concealed in false bottom under the back seat of a Maruti Suzuki car, DL 3 CAD 7081, .

According to police, Bohora will be prosecuted under the narcotics substance peddling charge.
