KATHMANDU: Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka 1-0 in the men’s football of the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) on Thursday evening.

At the match played at the Tripureshwor-based Dashrath Stadium, Bangladesh’s Mahbubur Rahman Sufil scored a goal in the 10th minute of the match.

Bangladesh has kept its hope of qualifying for the final alive with the win.
