KATHMANDU: Bupen Shrestha won the gold medal in Taekwondo under 87 kg category in the ongoing South Asian Games (SAG) held at Lalitpur.
He defeated Indian player Akshaya Hoda by 29-27 points. Nepal has won 12 gold medals in Taekwondo so far. With this win, the number of gold medals has reached 34.
