Kalanki-Koteshwor-Suryabinayak route to be hit over cycling event



KATHMANDU: Some routes in the Kathmandu Valley will remain closed for two days due to the 13th South Asian Games.

According to Metropolitan Traffic Police Division, the route from Suryabinayak to Kalanki will remain closed due to cycling event of ongoing the 13th South Asian Games. The Division, hence, has urged the concerned to use alternative routes for two days – Friday and Saturday.

The cycling event will be held along Kalanki-Satdobato-Koteshwor route on Friday and from Koteshwor to Suryabinayak route on Saturday as part of the SAG.

However, this rule will not apply to the operation of emergency vehicles.
