Doctors to be made available at district hospitals soon: Chief Minister Rai



BIRATNAGAR: Chief Minister of Province 1, Sherdhan Rai has said the state government is making arrangements within this year for the placement of doctors at the district hospitals in the province.

Inaugurating an annual review seminar of health-related programs implemented in the State in Dhankuta on Tuesday, Chief Minister Rai said the process has already been forwarded to appoint doctors on a contract basis to ensure easy health services to the people.

Chief Minister Rai said that the State government has prioritized the health sector to fulfill the goal of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’.

He also instructed the bodies concerned to collect statistics about modern technology required by the health institutions.
