President to offer tika in Dashain

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari is offering tika and jamara to the members of the general public on the occasion of the Dashain on October 8.

President Bhandari will offer tika and jamara to the distinguished persons and the general public coming to the President’s residence to receive the tika and jamara from the hands of the President, according to the Office of President, Sheetal Niwas.

While distinguished persons would be offered tika from 1 pm to 2 pm, the general public would be offered tika from the President from 2:30 to 3:30 pm, a press statement released by the office of the President said.
