Raisins have several health benefits. They include bone health, improved digestion, iron levels, acidosis, and sexual dysfunction.

What are Raisins?

Raisins, naturally sweet in flavor, are made by drying grapes, and pack a nutritional punch!

The USDA National Nutrient Database says raisins are a good source of fiber, energy, protein, and carbohydrates. They are also high in calories but have a low glycemic index. They contain zero cholesterol.

Raisins contain vitamin C, vitamin B-6, thiamin, folate, riboflavin, niacin, and pantothenic acid.
