Three held with pistols, ornaments in Dhangadhi

DHANGADHI: Police have arrested three people including Sanjaya Rana with three pistols. According to District Police Office, Kailali, Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police arrested them from a house based in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-3, Chatakpur.

Police also recovered some ornaments from their possessions. They had been operating various criminal activities from the Chatakpur-based house, said police.

Rana, who originally comes from Jai of Dhangadhi, had been escaping arrests despite his criminal background due to his hobnobbing with police officers.

SP Sudip Giri said police are investigating the case after taking the trio in custody.
