KATHMANDU: Gold price has continued to rally in the domestic market with an increase of Rs 1,500 per tola (11.664 grams) on Monday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of the precious yellow metal reached 67,800 per tola today, to record an all-time high.

Earlier on Sunday, the gold price had increased by Rs 500 to reach Rs 66,300.

Likewise, the price of silver increased by Rs 20 and reached Rs 995 per tola today.

FENEGOSIDA said that the increase in the price of the yellow metal attributes to its price hike in the international market as Federal Reserve lowered interest rates for the first time in more than a decade.
