One killed, two missing as landslide buries house

BAGLUNG: A woman died and two others went missing after a landslide buried her house in Lammela of Tamankhola Rural Municipality-4 in the district on early Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Panchakumari Shreepali, wife of Om Bahadur Shreepali, District Police Office, Baglung confirmed.

Likewise, Devendra Shreepali’s 70-year-old Asari Shreepali and 12-year-old son Prabin have gone missing in the landslide, said Assistant Sub-Inspector Padam Nepali of police post Bhongadobhan.

The landslide that came down from 150 meters above incurred damages to over 5 houses. Police said they have are searching the missing people.
