BHADRAPUR: A teenager has drowned while swimming at an under-construction pond Mechinagar-9. The deceased is Pranil Prasain,15, of the same locality.
According to the Area Police Office, Dhulabari, the pond was being constructed by the Magurmadi community forest users group for tourism promotion. Prasain drowned while swimming in it on Saturday.
Police have started an investigation into the incident.
