Kim supervises testing of multiple rocket launchers: N Korean state media

SEOUL: The North Korean state media on Sunday reported that North Korea carried on a strike drill and tactical guided weapons into the East Sea. The military drill was supervised by leader Kim Jong Un, Reuters reported quoting the North Korean state-owned media.

“The aim of the drill was to test the functioning of “large-caliber long-range multiple rocket launchers and tactical guided weapons by defense units,” the Korean Central News Agency said.

It maintained that the latest firing was not the long-range ballistic missiles that have been seen as a threat to the United States.
