KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has decided to provide an assistance of Rs 2.5 million to the storm-affected people of Bara and Parsa districts. The 31st meeting of the KMC Executive has made a decision on Thursday in assistance with one day’s salary of the KMC’s staffs and the people’s representatives.
Ishwar Man Dangol, KMC spokesman said that the the proposed bills include: the Bill of Public-Private Partnership, the Bill on Vehicle and Transport Management, the Bill on Disaster Risk Reducation and Management and the Bill on Urban Planning Commission.
