SEE resumes in Province 2



KATHMANDU: The stalled Secondary Education Examination (SEE) has resumed in Province 2 from today. The SEE had been adjourned following the leakage of question papers in Province 2. According to a new schedule, the exam of science paper is taking place.

The exam of Social Studies will take place on Saturday (April 6), Population and Environment on April 7, optional paper 1 on April 8, optional paper 2 on April 9 and the examination for technical subjects will be held 10, 11 and 12.

The examination has resumed in all eight districts. There are 263 exam centers in Province 2, with a total of 72,049 examinees.

Exam superintendent, security personnel, invigilators and examinees are forbidden to carry mobile phones inside the exam centers to make it more descent and systematic.

National Examination Board had adjourned the SEE in Province 2 after the question papers of Social Studies and Science were leaked before the exams.

It is revealed that the question papers were leaked by security personnel. Those arrested on the charge of leaking question papers were made public yesterday.
