DHARAN: Newly-elected Mayor of Dharan sub-metropolitan city Tilak Rai assumed his office today.
Rai was elected in the by-election held on Saturday. He represents the Nepali Congress.
The Mayor’s position was lying vacant after the death of Mayor Tara Subba in July last year.
