Nepal’s Magar, Shrestha win gold medal each

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Rajesh Magar has won a gold medal in the men’s cycling in the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) held in Gokarna on Wednesday.

Similarly, Nishma Shrestha has bagged another gold medal in the women’s cycling event.

With these wins, Nepal’s medal tally has reached 55 with 27 gold medals in total in the multi-sports event.

Nepal has also won silver and bronze medals in the cycling contest. Nirbha Shrestha bagged silver medal and Prajit Thapa won bronze medal under the men’s category.

Likewise, Jamuna Thapa won silver and Yashodhara bagged bronze medal under the women’s category.
