SAG 2019: Athletes locking horns for 16 events today

KATHMANDU: The competition is taking place in 16 different events of the tournament under the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) underway in Kathmandu and Pokhara on Wednesday.

Nepal has topped the medal tally with 24 gold followed by India with 20 gold medals as of Wednesday morning.

Today’s events include athletics, badminton, cricket, cycling, football, gulf, karate, kho kho, table tennis, Taekwondo, tennis, kabaddi, handball, Wushu, triathlon and shooting.

Of them badminton, women cricket, triathlon and handball will take place in Pokhara while the rest will be held in Kathmandu.
