KATHMANDU: The government has recommended governors for all the seven provinces.
A meeting of Council of Ministers held at prime minister’s residence in Baluwatar this afternoon had recommended Som Nath Adhikari Pyasi as governor for Province-1, Tilak Pariyar for Province-2, Bishnu Prasai for Province-3 and Amik Sherchan for Gandaki Province.
Likewise, Dharma Nath Yadav was recommended for Province-5, Govinda Kalauni for Karnali Province and Sharmila Kumari Panta for Sudurpaschim Province.
The names have been forwarded to President Bidya Devi Bhandari for their appointment.
They will be administered an oath of office and secrecy at a function to be organized at Sheetal Niwas, President’s Office at 9:30 am on Tuesday morning following their appointment by President Bhandari.
