11 gamblers arrested from Lalitpur

LALITPUR: Police have rounded up 11 gamblers from a restaurant at Lalitpur Metropolis-4, Jhamshikhel on Thursday night.

Acting on a tip-off a special team arrested them and also seized Rs 265,000 from their possession, according to Nepal Police Headquarters.

In another incident, a fire broke out at the rented room of one Radhe Shahu at Kathmandu-22 and gutted Rs 400,000 and clothes.

The detail of the property damaged is yet to be ascertained, according to the police.
