Flights delayed at Mumbai airports due to rain

MUMBAI: Hours of incessant rainfall in the Indian city of Mumbai led to water-logging in several parts of the city this morning.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had earlier issued an ‘Orange alert’ for Mumbai and Thane for Wednesday, Indian media reports have said.

An orange alert is issued when weather conditions are likely to disrupt daily lives.

Meanwhile, several flights were also delayed at Mumbai airports due to hear rainfall.

The Mumbai Police have also asked the general people to take precautions. (Agencies)
