Stop becoming active, or face consequences: Dahal warns former king

RAMECHHAP: Chairman of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has warned former king Gyanendra Shah to stop talking too much and try to become active in politics or else people would be compelled to oust him from Nagarjun Palace.

Dahal asked the former king to abide by the constitution and respect the federal democratic republic system.

Speaking at a program in Khandadevi of Ramechhap district today, Maoist supremo Dahal also warned of dire consequences if some ‘supporters’ of the former king raised their voices against the republican system.

Dahal said every citizen of the country should respect the republican system.
