Manange welcomed in NCP

POKHARA: An independent state assembly member elected from Manang constituency (B), Rajeev Gurung also known as Deepak Manange has joined Nepal Communist Party (NCP).

At a program organized by NCP Gandaki state committee here, Chief Minister of Gandaki State and Gandaki state in-charge of NCP, Prithvi Subba Gurung, welcomed Rajeev Gurung and Secretariat-member of Kaski District of Netra Bikram Chand-led group, Pushpa Karki by offering tika,  khada to them. They were also handed over with membership of the NCP.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Gurung stressed that all communists of the country should be together, saying the communists have been leading the government in Nepal as per democratic rule and process.

Saying there was no alternative to those carrying out violent activities to come to mainstream politics, he said such activities were not acceptable to the people.
