2 killed, 5 injured in Arghakhanchi jeep mishap



KATHMANDU: Two people died and five others sustained injuries in a jeep accident in Arghakhanchi district on Thursday.

The accident took place when the ill-fated jeep, Lu 1 Ja 1329, heading to Sandhikharka, district headquarters of Arghakhanchi, carrying people from Krishnanagar of Kapilvastu, veered off the road and plunged into Khanchikhola of Sandhikharna Municipality-7.

DSP Prakash Bista of District Police Office, Arghakhanchi confirmed the death of three people. The injured are receiving treatment at Thada Primary Heath Center.
