Mingma Dorchi Sherpa sets record for fastest consecutive climb to Everest, Lhotse

KATHMANDU: Nepali mountaineer Mingma Dorchi Sherpa has set a new record by climbing Mt. Everest and Mt. Lhotse consecutively at the fastest time of 6 hrs one minute.

He beat the previous record of 10 hours 15 minute.

According to the GPS he was carrying, he reached the summit of Mt. Everest at 12:44 am and the summit of Mt. Lhotse at 6:45 am on May 27, 2019.
