Nepal, India security forces launch joint petrol

BANKE: The security persons from both Nepal and India have launched a joint patrol along the border for the security in view of the Loksabha elections in India.

They are patrolling from Jangey Pillar 26 to 29 along the border.

Superintendent of the Armed Police Force from battalion 30 headquarters of Bageshwori, Bhesh Bahadur Shah is leading Nepali team while company commander Dev Verma from battalion 42 of Indian border security force is leading the Indian team.

Such joint patrol is conducted even during the election in Nepal as well, he added.

For the Loksabha election being held on May 6 in India, the Nepal-India border is being sealed from coming evening for 72 hours.
