13th SAG: Nepal continues to dominate tally with 23 golds



KATHMANDU: Nepal has continued to dominate the medal tally clinching the highest number of medals at the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) underway in Kathmandu and Pokhara.

As per the latest medal tally, Nepal has so far has bagged 34 medals including 23 gold, 3 silver and 8 bronze medals.

Similarly, India stands in the second position in the medal tally with altogether 26 medals comprising 10 gold, 12 silver and four bronze medals. Sri Lanka is placed with third 30 medals including five gold, ten silver and 15 bronze medals.

Pakistan is in the fourth position with 2 gold medals, four silver and eight bronze while Bangladesh is in 5th position with one gold, two silver medals and 18 bronze medals only. The Maldives has secured the 6th position with one gold. Bhutan has been placed last with one bronze medal.
