Nepal wins bronze in athletics



KATHMANDU: Nepal has bagged a bronze medal in athletics in the ongoing 13th South Asian Games.

Tanka Karki bagged the medal in the men’s 1,500 meters race, clocking 3 minutes 59.20 seconds.

India’s Ajaya Kumar Saro won gold after achieving the target in 3 minutes 54.81 seconds. Likewise, India’s Ajit Kumar bagged silver after completing the race in 3 minutes 57.18 seconds.

In women’s category, Sri Lanka won gold medal, while India silver and bronze.
