Cabinet meeting postponed, to convene again on Monday



KATHMANDU: An ‘emergency’ meeting of the Council of Ministers slated at the prime minister’s residence in Baluwtar for 6:30 pm on Sunday evening has been postponed till 11 am on Monday.

The meeting was expected to recommend the names of province governors but, was postponed at the eleventh hour citing lack of homework.

Earlier today, President Bidhya Devi Bhandari, as per the recommendation of the government, relieved the governors of all seven provinces from their responsibilities with effect from today.
