KATHMANDU: The government has appointed Dr Dharma Kanta Baskota as vice-chancellor of the Tribhuvan University (TU).

Prime Minister and Chancellor of TU K P Oli appointed Dr Baskota as vice-chancellor of the country’s oldest university.

Prior to this, Dr Baskota had served a term as chairman of the Nepal Medical Council (NMC).
