PM Modi says it is the best time to invest in India



BANGKOK: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made an appeal to the world business leaders to make an investment in India claiming that this was the best time to be in the country.

PM Modi said this was the best time to be in India while speaking at an event in Bangkok. He also outlined his government’s various endeavors.

He also highlighted India’s improved position in the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business (EODB) ranking.

“Several things are rising while others are falling,” he said. PM Modi added that the ease of living, ease of doing business, forest cover, FDI, patents are rising while taxes, red-tapism, tax rates, cronyism, and corruption are falling. (Agencies)
