Gold price increases by Rs 500 per tola in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Gold price increased by Rs 500 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday.

The precious yellow metal is being traded at Rs 72,500 per tola today, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The gold price was recorded at Rs 72,000 per tola on Monday. The price of tejabi gold also increased and is being traded at Rs 72,200 per tola.

The increase in the gold price in the domestic market owes to its price hike in the international market. In the international market, gold is being traded at USD 1,515 per ounce.

Likewise, the silver price also increased in the domestic market and is being traded at Rs 889 per tola.
