Biplav outfit issues ‘arrest warrant’ against policeman, warns of encounter

KATHMANDU: The outlawed Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav-led outfit has issued an ‘arrest warrant’ against a policeman for ‘espionage’.

In a warrant issued by ‘People’s Court’ Chief Bikash, the outfit has asked ASI Bhairav Kunwar of Bardgoriya Rural Municipality-1 of Kailali district to appear before the court within 25 days.

As mentioned in the arrest warrant, the warrant was issued as it was necessary to arrest Kunwar based on a complaint filed by one Tufan Kumar Saud at the People’s Court.

The warrant has warned of killing Kunwar in an encounter if he fails to appear before the court within the deadline and continues getting involved in ‘abduction, torture, and espionage’.
