Three involved in banking fraud held

KATHMANDU: Three persons, including a bank employee of the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), found to be involved in banking fraud have been arrested.

A Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of the Nepal Police arrested them on charges of issuing ‘Advance Payment Guarantee’ of Rs 10.1 million by illegally using the bank stamp, signature and letter pad.

Police arrested bank staff Ranadhir Tumba of Mahalaxmi municipality-7, Chhabilal Dhakal of Bhaktapur, and Dev Jung Shahi of Bajura, who were currently living at Mahalaxmi in Lalitpur district.
