KATHMANDU: National Assembly (NA) members today drew the government’s attention about the culture of the delay in announcing tender after the announcement of the budget.
Taking part in deliberations, NA member Kali Bahadur Malla said that the government needs to address the issue lawfully. Likewise, Ramesh Jung Rayamajhi stressed on thorough discussions on issues related to the budget before its announcement. He also queried about the legal actions in regard to the NAC wide body procurement, gold smuggling, and murder of Nirmala Panta.
NA member Khemraj Nepali asked the government to make clear confusion about the syndicate in the transport sector. He said that the budget was capable to address the issues of the suppressed community.
Radheshyam Adhikari said that the budget has failed to come up with programs to strengthen the community schools.
