KATHMANDU: As many as 65 percent of nurses have failed license test conducted by Nepal Nursing Council, questioning the quality of nursing studies in Nepal.
Of the total 1, 519 nurses who appeared in nursing license test this year, only 526 nurses cleared the test.
“The college that runs nursing classes should have its own hospital and those that do not have required standards should be should be shut down,” said Professor Dr. Goma Devi Niraula.
