NEW DELHI: An Indian Air Force aircraft with 13 people onboard has gone missing on Monday afternoon, Indian media reported.

The aircraft went missing after taking off from an airbase in Assam. The last contact with the aircraft — an Antonov An-32 military transport aircraft — was at around 1 pm today, India Today reported.

Eight crew members and five passengers were onboard the aircraft.
