NCP secretariat meeting postponed



KATHMANDU: A secretariat meeting of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has been postponed indefinitely. The meeting scheduled for Monday has been adjourned citing urgency to conclude the remaining task of the party unification.

The ruling NCP has not yet formed politburo, party’s central departments and work division of central committee members.

NCP leaders yet to strike deal on the leadership of  organizational department, school department, publicity department and economic department. Earlier, the party chairpersons KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal had held talks about it.

Earlier, Dahal’s statement as to taking over leadership as per the agreement had triggered waves in the party, putting the cadres in the doldrums.
