FEAR THE WALKING DEAD season 5 has received huge audiences. The new seasons premiered on June 2 on AMC in the US . AMC has confirmed that the new series of the Fear the Walking Dead will feature a second crossover.

The first cross over was last season, when Morgan Jones (played by Lennie James) starred in Fear the Walking Dead after appearing in the original series The Walking Dead.

The fifth season will introduce Dwight (Austin Amelio) who also featured in The Walking Dead from season six, seven and eight will follow Morgan Jones and Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey) as they look for survivors.

The official synopsis reads: “In Season 5, the group’s mission is clear: locate survivors and help make what’s left of the world a slightly better place.

“With dogged determination, Morgan leads the group with a philosophy rooted in benevolence, community and hope.

“Each character believes that helping others will allow them to make up for the wrongs of their pasts.”

The brand new episode of the series is an hour long.

The remaining 16 episodes in the series will air every Sunday in the US and every Monday in the UK.

Some of the episode titles have been released ahead of the new series.
