KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased Rs 2 per liter in the price of petrol and diesel coming into effect from this midnight.

The price increment follows increment in the international market, said the NOC.

Despite increment in the international market four months ago, NOC did not adjust the price of petroleum products due to festivals like Dashain, Tihar and Chhath, said NOC’s executive director Surendra Kumar Poudel.

As per the new adjusted price list, petrol will be sold for Rs 109 per liter and diesel for Rs 97.
