Parisians mourn 13 soldiers killed in Mali

PARIS: Parisians on Monday paid their respects to 13 French soldiers killed in Mali last week.

Citizens and soldiers paid tribute as hearses with the coffins of late thirteen French soldiers made their way past the Alexandre III Bridge in Paris, France.

French soldiers died in Mali when their helicopters collided last week as they hunted for Islamist militants.

This was the biggest loss on the French side in a single day since an attack 36 years ago in Beirut when 58 soldiers died. (Agencies)
