Nepal secures two more gold medals in Taekwondo

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Parbati Gurung won the gold medal in taekwondo under the ongoing 13th South Asian Games (SAG).

She defeated the Sri Lankan player in a 23-29 age category of Taekwondo Poomsae. India won the bronze.

Ayasha gives gold for the nation

Similarly, Nepal’s Ayasha Shakya secured the gold in the Taekwondo Poomsae above 29 years. She scored 7.940 points to limit India’s player to the silver. Sri Lanka wins the bronze. With this, Nepal has won nine gold medals in the SAG (December 1-10).
